Returns

IN-STORE

Returns are accepted for exchange or store credit within 14 days of purchase with a valid receipt. Merchandise must be returned in its original, unused condition with original packaging and tags attached, if applicable. Sale items, gift cards, custom orders, and consumable products are final sale and not eligible to return.

ONLINE

Returns are accepted for exchange or store credit within 14 days of postmarked delivery date (if shipped), pickup date (if picked up in-store), or notice of local delivery (if delivered locally) with a valid receipt. Merchandise must be returned in its original, unused condition with original packaging and tags attached, if applicable. Sale items, gift cards, custom orders, and consumable products are final sale and not eligible to return. 

STORE CREDIT

Store credit is valid to use for purchases in-store and online within 1 year of date issued and must be presented at the time of use. Village Mercantile is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misplaced store credit receipts. Store credit cannot be used towards the purchase of gift cards.

(Please note that while store credit from a return may be issued onto a physical or digital card, this credit is separate from gift card funds and does not apply to our gift card policy—please see our Gift Card policy for more details.)

HOW TO RETURN

Eligible merchandise purchased in-store and online may be returned to a store location during our listed business hours or shipped back to Village Mercantile. Returns for online orders must be requested by emailing: orders@village-mercantile.com within 14 days of the postmarked delivery date. Merchandise shipped back to Village Mercantile without an approved return request will not be accepted. Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipments are the responsibility of the customer.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS

If you receive merchandise that appears to have been damaged in shipping, please take photos of the condition of the box/parcel and damaged merchandise and email us at: hello@village-mercantile.com within 7 days of postmarked delivery date to arrange a replacement.

Shipping

Orders placed online will be processed within 3 business days of date of purchase with standard delivery service via USPS or UPS. Standard shipping delivery estimates 5-7 business days from date shipped. Please contact us via email at: orders@village-mercantile.com to arrange any alternate/expedited shipping services.

Shipping is available to all contiguous states in the U.S., with rates beginning at $11. Rates vary based on order weight, size, and destination. Shipping costs calculated at checkout.

Orders placed online are available for free in-store pickup. Free local delivery is also offered for the towns of Larchmont, Mamaroneck, and Rye. Contact will be made via call, email, or text message to arrange delivery date and time if this option is selected.

Gift Cards

Gift cards purchased from Village Mercantile after April 16, 2025 can be used towards purchases in-store and online and do not expire. Physical gift card or digital card number must be presented at the time of use.
